Hi, I’m Mike.

I’ve been working in the design industry for 15 years. After a long time in the magazine, marketing, and advertising worlds I started Freewheel Design in 2012 as a way to focus on the work I love doing. I am honest, friendly, accessible, and professional. I work quickly and create clear, creative designs that communicate your brand message. These days my focus is on corporate design, editorial design, and accessible, interactive PDFs.

I’m also a Registered Graphic Designer (RGD), a professional who has been certified by the Association of Registered Graphic Designers, the non-profit professional Association governing my industry, with over 4,000 Members across Canada.

When I’m not working I’m a dad to four lovely children, an avid cyclist, and a musician.
